KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- On the eve of the winter solstice, Hostess Brands, LLC is providing people in the town of Beaver, Alaska with a much-needed dose of sweetness, bringing warmth to a community that will experience just one hour of sunlight on the shortest day of the year.

Hostess Brands has provided Hostess Twinkies® and CupCakes for each of the village’s 62 residents. The boxes of treats are being distributed by the Beaver Village Council.
